We understand you love your shirts and we'd be happy to embellish your own garments. That being said, as much as we try to prevent it, sometimes things go wrong. If we agree to accept your product, we accept no responsibility if something were to get damaged (i.e. rips or tears, stains, curing too hot, etc.). Your product would be your responsibility.
There is a difference between the products we offer and retail products. The products we offer are specifically manufactured for the purpose of being printed or embroidered. A product purchased from a store is likely not intended for embellishment. Therefore, Customer supplied garments cannot be guaranteed in any way. In the event of an error or damage to the item, we will not be able to replace the item nor issue a refund for any materials used or time spent on the project.
If you have your own design or simply a design idea, it’s not a problem. We can work with your design whether it is production ready, a mere concept in your head, or somewhere in between.
Often our Customers would like to see design work before they are able to place their order. We can provide artwork before your order is placed, but full payment for the artwork is required and non-refundable. If you place the order after the artwork is finalized, as long as there are no changes, there would be no additional art charge. (Note: If artwork is completed by our artists and the Customer does not place an order, the art charge is $30.00 per logo).
Sometimes artwork supplied by the Customer may not produce the best end results on embellished items. We will let you know upfront and give you the option of having you resubmit the design or have us redo the artwork at our normal rates.
50% of the total order is due upon ordering. All orders are paid in full at the time of order pickup (unless otherwise approved). We accept payment by cash, check or credit card. Invoice copies are issued upon request.
Our standard order production time for both screen print and embroidery orders is 10 business days. This is normally two weeks, unless a holiday falls in between the order start and completion date. Ordering and/or production of the products will occur upon the required 50% deposit.
If an order is needed in a shorter time frame than our 10 business day turnaround, we will do everything we can to accommodate your request. However, rush orders often cause us to run our production staff at overtime hours, resulting in the need to charge additional rush fees. Rush orders are subject to a 10-25% rush charge of the total order depending on production allotment at that time.
There are no minimums for initial orders; however, all screen print reorders have a 12 piece minimum with reset up charges for each print location. It is suggested that if you even think you might need another shirt, that it is always best to order 1-2 extras initially to prevent the reorder requirements and costs. We will always let you know what type of embellishment would work best for your needs and would be the lowest price overall.
All our prices are based on the quantity of garments ordered. The more you order, the lower the price is per garment. Price breaks are set at 24, 48, 72, 144, 288, and 576.
Mixing & Matching - It is possible to mix and match garment types to reach a higher price breaks. Our price breaks are based on the number of same design items, not similar garments. For instance, if you order 100 t-shirts and 50 sweatshirts, as long as the design and print colors are exactly the same for both items, you will be able to take advantage of the 144 lower priced quantity break.
If you place a reorder there is a $10.00 resetup charge per color, per print location. This price includes us realigning the screen to print. If you know you'll be placing frequent reorders let us know ahead of time so we can keep your screens up.
Once an order has been confirmed by the Customer, either through verbal authorization, in writing, via electronic transmission, by phone or in person are final. Any changes requested after confirmation are made at the sole discretion of Madison Print Shoppe, LLC. Should Madison Print Shoppe, LLC agree to change a confirmed order, the Customer may be charged a $15 change order fee. In some cases, these changes could also increase the price from the original quoted total, the production schedule, and completion dates for shipping and production. All changes must be confirmed in writing and any errors, inaccuracies or omissions made during the placement and/or production of an order shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
If you cancel an order before embellishment, you are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This will be deducted from the original deposit. No cancellations will be accepted after production has begun.

We're happy to order samples that aren't already in the showroom. Ordered samples should be available in 24-48 business hours.
We don't provide a printed sample before order completion as most of the work is in the setup of the job itself. If you'd like to see one shirt, we can provide a digital mockup sent to your email address. Just ask us!

We inspect each garment as it’s printed. While we do our best to catch irregularities before the garments are delivered to you, sometimes holes or odd seams are missed. If you should find some defect in your garment, contact us and we’ll work with you to replace the item.
However, since each garment is manufactured in countries across the world, we cannot guarantee each garment will fit exactly the same. Manufacturers allow what they call a “tolerance” during their quality inspection. When their quality control team inspects each product, they compare measurements of the product to the measurements on their spec sheet. If measurements are within their “tolerance” then they pass inspection. The specs listed on our size charts are not necessarily a 100% certainty, it's more of a range. The width and height can be within one inch longer/shorter/wider than the specs listed.
Due to the international nature of apparel manufacturing, we do not warranty or guarantee the consistency, color, texture or appearance of the actual apparel. Apparel fabric colors which are shown online are approximate only and may have variations in color, hue and tone, especially from one size group to another. Fabric colors represented on computer monitors may vary substantially due to variations in computer screens, resolution, color, tone or any other display settings. Like-named colors used by apparel manufacturers are not necessarily an exact shade match (colors can vary from dye lots).
We are capable of printing over seams and zippers, but there are risks involved. The main risks involved are the ink bunching along the seam/zipper and possible inconsistencies when comparing the order piece by piece. Screen print boards are hard surfaces. When pushing the ink through the screen with a squeegee, a seam or a zipper results in an uneven print surface. Not every garment is the same so perfect uniformity for every print cannot be guaranteed. In addition, pushing ink over a seam/zipper can cause the ink to bunch in those areas. Having a completely even print to the eye/touch is unrealistic with these placements
Ribbed shirts and tanks are a traditional option for Customers that desire a stretchy, yet form fitting garment. Although common, the ribbed fabric causes a challenge when screen printing. Upon stretching the garment to wear it, the ribbed material will stretch and naturally, the ink particles could separate and expose material that was not saturated with ink. This would give the design a cracked appearance. We will print on ribbed garments but make no guarantee about the longevity and appearance of the final product.
There is a limit to the amount of stitching any fabric can hold. Any design may cause slight pulling on the surrounding fabric, especially on very lightweight, stretchy, loose or open weave fabrics such as most t-shirts, sweaters, tank tops, and polyester, linen, or terry cloth fabrics. The reason is the embroidery thread is heavier, stronger and a tighter density than the surrounding fabric. If your project requires large, dense embroidery, please select heavyweight fabrics such as shirts with an ounce weight higher than 7 ounces OR fabrics with tight weaves including denim, double pique, oxford cloth, poplin, twill, wool, flannel, fleece or microfiber.
We do not warranty or guarantee that prints will be the same from shirt to shirt or item to item. When printing on colored fabrics there will be variations in print color and brightness which is considered normal. Due to the variations inherent in the processes used in producing screen printed designs, we assume no responsibility and make no guarantees regarding exact color matches of product or production, either within an order or in a reorder.
On certain colored garments there is always the risk of ink bleeding or dye migration. The dye in your red fabric could cause white ink to turn pink. The dye in navy fabric could cause yellow ink to turn green. The fabric may not like the flashes we use to cure the ink and could burn. We take extra care to test a shirt before printing, but depending on the dyes in the fabric and other factors, this could happen.
All printed products especially shirts should be properly washed before wearing. We recommend washing your garments inside out on gentle cycle, in cold water only, without bleach. This will provide maximum durability and colorfastness. We also recommend hang-to-dry only. DO NOT IRON DIRECTLY on any ink print or vinyl transfer.
